Objective: to describe the use and perception of audiovisual resources in the teaching-learning process of Language and Literature among sixth-grade students at Zoila Alvarado de Jaramillo School. Method: a descriptive, non-experimental field study involving one teacher and 34 students. Available responses concerning the use of audiovisual resources and perceived comprehension were analyzed. Results: participants reported a favorable perception of audiovisual support; however, the available percentages cannot be reconstructed as integer frequencies consistent with n = 34 and are therefore not presented as verified quantitative estimates. Conclusions: audiovisual resources were perceived as a favorable support for Language and Literature instruction, but the descriptive design and limitations in frequency traceability preclude attributing a causal effect on learning.
